Who are we?
Adventure Girls 4WD was created back in early 2021 by a bunch of friends, who wanted a group of women who shared the same passions, getting out and adventuring! With many of them came from a role in a larger 4x4 group, they wanted something smaller (Little did they know we would grow to be Australia's largest 4wd & adventure group!). They wanted the group to be not always focused on 4WD but more just sharing our passion for adventure. No matter the form it comes in.
The girls also wanted to create an environment where members felt confident, comfortable and welcomed in a happy atmosphere. It is all about quality, not quantity when it comes to Adventure Girls 4WD.
Jump forward to 2022, the original admin team has stepped away to chase their own dreams, chasing that next adventure that sets their soul on fire as well as sharing their passion for adventure with their own social media followers.
They handed the reins of the group to our new group owner Jess Fleming, who lives and breathes four wheel driving, and camping. Spending every weekend out bush, taking photos and sharing her knowledge with others so they too can be inspired to get out and explore!
Jess proudly works alongside an incredibly strong admin team who is made up of Taylor Jade, Natascha Gordon & Hayley Elford. As well as a vast team of 20+ moderators located all around Australia. All who love adventures, exploring and sharing their knowledge with the other girls within the group. Although we are spread across the state, our leadership team is the strongest its ever been and will work together to continue to grow Adventure Girls 4WD.
What do we do?
We are a social group for girls only and we host events all throughout Australia. These could be fishing, hiking/walking, laid back camping trips, all levels of 4WD trips, road trips to name a few.
We started off as a Victorian based group but have expanded Australia wide with members from every state!
While we do events, we also have the Facebook group for our members to connect with one another, post their cars & adventures, post photos & ask questions.
The trips that are hosted are to suit most experience levels so everyone can have a go and while we have 4WD in our name, a lot of our events you don't need a 4WD to attend! When it comes down to it, our biggest aim is to bring likeminded women together to create friendships with each other.
